H I G H L I G H T INTERNATIONAL A R T FESTIVAL
Highlight International Art Festival 2024 was held at Lake Forest City Hall on August 9, 2024. Organized by US Highlight International Art Center Foundation, Asian American Senior Citizens Service Center & Orange County Chinese Community Service, the festival brought together a diverse community of young people from different countries and ethnic groups, community elders, and autistic children to participate in the exhibition and performance.
With art as a bond, the community came together to enjoy a wonderful art feast.
Highlight International Art Festival is a captivating celebration that brings together diverse artistic talents from around the world. Alongside artworks from the United States, the festival showcases over a dozen pieces from Europe and Asia. A heartwarming surprise came through the participation of artists on the autism spectrum and their families.
Festival artists ranged remarkably in age from 6 to 89 years old. Notably, the event's oldest performer—an 89-year-old artist—displayed remarkable talent and vibrant energy, adding to the festival's impressive lineup.
Highlight International Art Festival was also a journey– an artistic tapestry woven from months of exploration abroad by the Highlight International Art Center Foundation. This journey involved discovering the cultures of ethnic minorities, intangible cultural heritage crafts, and gathering interviews with local cultural figures.

Highlight International Art Festival represented a convergence and exchange of Eastern and Western cultures, a vibrant showcase of ethnic minority cultures, and the shared global pursuit of beautiful art.
Everyone had a fantastic time and enjoyed all the amazing activities and entertainment. It was truly a memorable experience for all who attended Highlight International Art Festival.
