WAAD YOUTH ART EXHIBITION

2024 World Autism Awareness Day Youth Art Exhibition hosted by Franklin Foundation was successfully held at the Nixon Library & Museum on Sunday, March 17th. The event was graced by the presence of Irvine Mayor Farrah Khan and philanthropist Zhang Xianghua.

The art exhibition attracted participants from all walks of life, reflecting a growing public interest in the holistic development—both physical and mental—of adolescents, as well as a concerted effort to support families affected by autism.

Serving as a co-host, Highlight International Art Center curated artwork for a charity auction and simultaneously hosted the benefit performance in the afternoon, contributing spectacular performances of their own.

The exhibition and auction drew a strong community response, attracting over 300 attendees. The combined efforts were highly successful, raising more than $16,000. All proceeds will directly benefit families affected by autism.
